Initial Consultation
The first appointment with a naturopathic doctor involves a thorough review of your current health concerns as well as the collection of a detailed health history. During this appointment, the naturopathic doctor often conducts a physical exam and recommends laboratory tests to make a proper assessment. With the patient's input, a personalized treatment plan will be proposed, which may include specific diet and lifestyle changes, nutrient supplementation, herbal formulas, intravenous treatments, and/or prolozone therapy if necessary.
Follow-up Consultation
Follow-up appointments are recommended to discuss your ongoing health concerns or changes, to modify an existing treatment plan if necessary, and/or to create a future treatment plan for health maintenance.
Prescription Refill
It takes 10 to 15 minutes to assess the need for continued medication use and to write a new prescription when you need it.
